Quick setup, fair price

Got my life insurance for parents sorted here. No fuss, quick online process. Price seemed fair. Happy with the digital will included.

Good value life insurance

I was looking for the best deal on life insurance for homeowners and came across DeadHappy. Their introductory offer seemed decent, and the premiums were competitive compared to others I checked. I specifically liked that I could include a charitable donation as part of my deathwish without extra hassle. For what I paid, it felt like good value overall. I didn't use a referral code this time, but I might look into their friend referral program if I recommend them.

Easy to get sorted

Needed some life insurance stuff, you know, just in case. Found DeadHappy online. It was super easy to get a quote and sign up for basic term life insurance. Didn't have to talk to anyone, which was nice. Everything just worked, and I got my policy details fast. Felt good to finally get that checked off my list.

Clear process, few glitches

I got the term life insurance with accidental death cover. The ordering process was quite clear, with each step well explained on the website. I appreciated not needing a medical exam for my specific policy. The confirmation email arrived quickly. My only minor issue was a slight delay when I tried to update my digital legacy management details; the page loaded slowly a couple of times. Otherwise, it felt like a very modern and efficient way to handle this kind of thing.

Good policy, slow setup

I signed up for their pay as you go life insurance last month. The digital wills feature was a big plus for me. Getting the policy itself was pretty straightforward online, but setting up the payout instructions for my personalized deathwish took a bit longer than I expected. Customer service was helpful when I called, though.

are these 'deathwishes' actually legally binding? like, can I really set up specific things to happen with the payout?

N Nancy Moore 1 week ago
From what I understand, they're more like strong instructions or preferences for your beneficiaries. The actual legal stuff usually still needs a will, but it guides the payout distribution.

M Mark Lopez 1 week ago
They're not a full legal will, no, but they tell your loved ones what you want. It's more about making your wishes clear rather than a legally enforceable document on its own, afaik.

Just curious if DeadHappy is a real, legit company or some fly-by-night thing? Never heard of them before.

J Julia G. 1 week ago
They're legit. They're regulated by the FCA, which means they're under official supervision like any other insurance company. It's not a scam.

Yeah, they're underwritten by a big insurer too, I forget which one but it's a known name. So your policy is backed by a solid company even if DeadHappy is newer.

wondering about deadhappy vs beagle street. anyone have experience with both or insights into which is better for someone just wanting basic cover?

A Ashley Lee 1 month ago
I looked at both. DeadHappy felt a bit more straightforward with the 'deathwishes' thing, which I liked for personalization. Beagle Street seemed a bit more traditional.

DeadHappy is definitely more modern with how they do things. If you just want simple, pay-as-you-go, DeadHappy might be quicker to set up. Beagle Street is good too but maybe a bit less flexible on the short term.

Is deadhappy really pay as you go? Or is it like, a yearly contract disguised as monthly payments?

H Hannah P. 1 week ago
It's genuinely pay as you go. You can cancel whenever, no long-term commitment that I've seen in the terms.

Yeah, it's monthly. I changed my mind on cover amount a couple of times and it was super easy to adjust without any fees or anything. So definitely flexible.

anyone got a share code for deadhappy? about to sign up and figured i'd ask if there's any referral bonus going around.

L Linda Phillips 1 week ago
I think they do referral rewards. Check around on some discount sites or just ask a friend who might already have it. Usually gives both of you something.

Yeah, they usually give you like a gift card or something for using a code. I got one when I signed up, you enter it during the quote process.
